Murchison Falls National Park

Uganda’s largest and oldest national park is defined by the mighty Nile River and the spectacle of Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river is forced through a narrow 7-meter gorge in a thunderous explosion of water.

The park offers a classic Big Five safari experience on the northern savannah plains, with large herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and lion. A highlight is the launch cruise to the base of the falls, offering stunning views and incredible concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds.
