Uganda’s largest and oldest national park is defined by the mighty Nile River and the spectacle of Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river is forced through a narrow 7-meter gorge in a thunderous explosion of water.
The park offers a classic Big Five safari experience on the northern savannah plains, with large herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and lion. A highlight is the launch cruise to the base of the falls, offering stunning views and incredible concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds. It’s a park of powerful landscapes and prolific wildlife.
